cutting hair and bedtime prayers

My sweet Sophie girl was born with the most amazingly thick dark brown hair. It was beautiful. At about four months old it all started fall out, along with my hair as well! No literally, my hair decided to fall out,  same thing happened when I had Bentley. I guess its a normal thing, I was way more aware this time which made it even more noticable. Soph's head decided to keep a ton of hair in the back bottom section, and then right on top of her head like alfalfa. Kam convinced me to chop it off, and I finally did. I took an inch or two off the top and what a difference it has made! Over the last week or so I have noticed both mine and Sophie's hair start to grow back in :) Soph's hair is still dark! I am in love with my little brunette.

Now a cute story about Bentley that happened this week....

Bentley was in bed and ready to lay down. She has been in the wonderful habit of saying her prayers, but this habit has quickly turned into, "lets see how fast I can mumble my prayers mom."  For anyone who knows B knows that she is a very loud and enthusiastic little one. So I asked Bentley to speak up and this is what I heard...

"Dear Heabenly Fader, thankful for dis day, mom and dad, bess paisley (she always includes at least one of her little friends/cousins in her prayers), peas bess daddy's tired eyes, and  peas bess Sophers (one of sophie's nicknames) to be a pwincess. Name of Jesus Christ , Amen."

Everyday Bentley tells me that she is a princess, in her prayer she made sure Sophie was a princess too.

Tonight she prayed the whole time for tootsie and daddy to come home from work. My girls are silly and cute!!
