all things summer

Im a little sad that summer is coming to an end... but a little excited for everything coming this fall. Come fall there will be a new baby, more soup recipes to discover, cuddling under the blanket, holiday music, hot chocolate, cute fall clothes and plenty of napping :) The summer wore me out-we had tons of fun and enjoyed everything about Denver while we were here. The weather has been beautiful and we cant get enough of it. Seriously Denver is the best kept secret when it comes to summer weather-tons of sun, not too hot, and plenty of late night storms. We are really going to miss it here.

There are a few things I forgot to blog about these last couple weeks/months. Its time to play catch up!

Bentley had swim lessons at the beginning of summer-she absolutely loved every second of it! She was a little scared in the beginning-but once she warmed up she loved it. Kam was an awesome dad and even came when he had days off. I made him get in the pool the few days it was a tad bit chilly. Im pregnant so I basically get most things I ask nicely for :)

Another thing we did was play at the park several times a week. Its always the highlight of Bentley's day to play outside- so when we go to the park she has an even better time! We fell in love with a little park here called Belleview. I already blogged about it on her birthday but we went there a little before and had a good time swimming in the creek. She also enjoyed the train and petting zoo that was there.

This was so funny, bentley was drying off laying in the grass. She tried to stand up and got stuck, the hill was a little too steep. After I was done taking a picture of her, and done laughing we got her up :)

 We also had the chance to go to a broncos pre-season practice. I took pictures for one of the players family so his wife was kind enough to get us in the VIP tent and sit with the players families. We felt pretty cool wearing our VIP stickers, kam loved every second of football upclose-even if it was not his cardinals.

Another activity this summer was the county fair, Bentley could not get enough of the petting zoo and all the things going on around her.

 the llama would not stop staring at me...but i could not tell because his eyes were on the sides of his head??
